Role Context
We are in need of an exceptional volunteer who is able to provide assistance and support in income generation, administration, social media and communication
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in obtaining new income generation streams for Mision Mexico Foundation, including grants research & writing, corporate sponsors, individual sponsors and funding from schools and universities
Assist with the development and updating of the Misión Mexico Foundation website, utilising SEOs to boost overall engagement and online presence for the Foundation
Assist with sourcing donations of goods, both locally and internationally.
Coordinate local fundraising and promotional events, including distributing marketing materials
Assist in promoting Mision Surf and increasing income revenue
Assist with content gathering for Mision Mexico Foundation’s social media channels and online presence. Including photography, videos, and blogs
Assist with campaigns and fundraisers, supporting ideas and content, including design and all visual content
Assist with general administration tasks for the Directors and Communications Coordinator
Essential Criteria
Valid ‘Working with Children Check’ and undergo a Criminal Records Check prior to employment. Subsequently, staff must report any criminal charges or court appearances
Fluency in English language
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong website management knowledge and graphic design experience
Experience in assisting social media communication and channels
Effective administrative skills, including MS Office
No drug user
Desirable Criteria
Conversational Spanish
Experience in grant writing
Additional Information
Volunteers' contribution fee can be discussed in the interview for their volunteer stay, regardless of the period of time. This contribution fee covers the costs associated with the accommodation and administration of our volunteers.
