Misión México Casa Volunteer

Volunteer
Volunteers are needed all year round at Misión México, and people from all over the world come to dedicate their time and effort. We consider a volunteer to be a ‘friend with authority’ here at Misión México. Our children need love and fun but also guidance, routine and consistent boundaries.
Every volunteer has some talent that they can share. You don’t need to be an engineer or a certified child psychologist. A genuine love for children and an enthusiasm to work is a basic requirement. Skills that volunteers can bring to our home and share with our children can range.
Surf & Swim Volunteer

Volunteer
We are looking for individuals with experience in teaching swimming and surfing, who can bring excitement and energy to our youth community classes and public surf lessons. You would be (1) working with children & youth from our home & local community (2) delivering surf classes to the general public and hotel guests (3) helping to promote our surf school.
Enrichment Volunteers

Volunteer
Misión México Casa is introducing a new volunteer model. We will now accept volunteers during school holidays only (Christmas, Easter, and Summer), to facilitate specialised workshops and courses with the children and youth in our care. We are looking for passionate people to join our team and lead activities and workshops based on their skills and expertise. Please join our team this summer to launch Misión México's first ever Enrichment Program!
Please be conversational, professional or native speaking in English (basic Spanish would be great and useful to you here!).
The application process for Specialist Volunteers will include a request for a proposal of your course/workshop so we can schedule your time accordingly.
Community Programs & Development Volunteer

Volunteer
Our Community Development Program, Proyecto Faro, was established in 2021. Proyecto Faro is a community development program which transforms the behaviours, attitudes and skills of youth, motivating them to become agents of positive change within their families and communities. It does this through providing positive experiences and opportunities at no cost to the participants.
The Community Programs & Development Volunteer is responsible for:
● Assisting with the delivery of our community programs in Puerto Madero and Villa de Sol
● Assist with the day to day running of our social impact hotel Mision Surf.
