VOCATIONAL AND WORK TRAINING
Our vocational and work training program, Jóvenes con Rumbo (JcR), is designed to create social, educational, and employment opportunities for at-risk youth in communities affected by violence and crime in Mexico. Developed by YouthBuild Mexico and funded by UNICEF, JcR provides intensive four-month training for young people aged 14-25 who are outside the educational system, are behind in their education, are unemployed, have a precarious job, or may be at risk of engaging in illegal or violent activities.
During the program, participants acquire technical trade certification in an area of their choice and develop life and employability skills. We also help youth find employment or re-enter the educational system at the level they left school, providing them with opportunities for educational continuity and career advancement.
Join us in creating a brighter future for at-risk youth in Mexico. By providing them with education, training, and employment opportunities, we can help break the cycle of violence and crime in our communities.
If you are between the ages of 14 and 25, and are outside the educational system, behind in your education, unemployed, have a precarious job, or may be at risk of engaging in illegal or violent activities, Jóvenes con Rumbo (JcR) can help you acquire the skills and training you need to succeed.
