Our Visión and Focus

opportunities for every child and youth that we care for to succeed. Through long-term solutions like
education, practical and emotional care and community development, we provide tools and

Misión Surf was born out of Misión México's passion for the ocean. We are a not-for-profit hotel and surf school with a sister home and a sister community project in Tapachula. Since opening Misión Surf, we’ve hosted community classes, surf workshops, yoga retreats and we even care for animals. Misión Surf is a place for people to enjoy whilst giving back to the wider community, and supporting our mission to give love, life, and hope.
Role Context
Misión Surf is a social impact hostel and surf school, created to generate self-sustainable income for Mision Mexico Foundation and provide community outreach support to the youth and families of Puerto Madero. We are a small, 6-bedroom, beachfront property located 30 minutes outside of Tapachula, Chiapas.
We are looking for individuals or a couple with hospitality experience to assist with guest engagement, cleaning, and taking photos for social media purposes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out process
Assist with guest enquiries in a positive manner
Clean and prepare guest bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas to a high standard
Assist in maintaining the grounds
Assist with gathering social media photos and content
Essential Criteria
Proven experience working in a hospitality setting, with customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Fluent in either English or Spanish, conversational in both languages is a bonus
Self-motivated and able to take responsibility for actions and duties
21 years or older
No drug use
Desirable Criteria
Full driving license, with willingness to drive in Mexico if required
